The Refurbishment

A view of our pump control panels, now all fitted in place in the site's control room.

The gravel media layer of the filter bed laid, the refurbished pipework can be clearly seen in this shot. The next stage of the filter bed works involves the installation of the sand and anthracite media layers.

There are 900 nozzles fitted in each of the treatment work's three filter beds at Juas, all of which have now been replaced! They can be seen as the white circular parts at the base of the filter bed in this photo.
