July 2017 - Washwater Tanks

The washwater tanks being assessed. Washwater from the filter beds will be gravity fed here where the sediment is allowed to settle out, before being returned into the quarry, the remaining sludge will be pumped into the sewer network. The team can be seen here fitting the ultra-sonic level detection instruments.
