July 2017 - The Miox Room

This is the Miox room inside the chemical store, home to the miox unit (pictured here). This unit will make sodium hypochlorite which will be used as a disinfectant (chlorine) this will be added as a final dose to water before entering the network. The unit along with much of the water treatment works, can be monitored remotely from Brickfield House using our SCADA system.
