MyCesspit Portal and email notifications launched

Cesspit customers are now able to view their next collection dates following the launch of a new online portal. Plus, email notifications will now be sent every time a collection is made, if the driver couldn't access the cesspit, or if a collection wasn't required. 

Called 'MyCesspit Portal', it is designed as a calendar view and has been rolled out to all 5,500 cesspit customers. All they need to do is sign up at mycesspit.water.gg. Once signed up, email notifications will also be received. 

"This gives the customer access to information about their service in a simple and easy process", said Andrea Simpson, Business Change Manager. 

"As we start to enter the Christmas season, we tend to get an increasing number of calls as people start to arrange their plans for the holiday season. We're really happy to have this introduced before then, and would encourage those who haven't signed up to do so - it will only take a few minutes and gives you completely visibility of your collection schedule. 

"Our cesspit customer survey showed us that 86% of people were happy or very happy with the service, but a lack of information about the status of the service was a cause of frustration. Therefore, we've been working hard behind the scenes to develop and adapt the portal for our cesspit customers, and are hopeful this will ease some of their frustrations. Couple this with the email notifications and this is a real step change in the cesspit service, putting information about your cesspit in your hands - exactly where it belongs.
