Major Investment in Critical Infrastructure completed.
Capital Delivery Manager Carl Falla said:
"This station is a small but vital part of the island's critical infrastructure and this investment means we can ensure wastewater is safely returned to sea for decades. We worked closely with other utilities and Traffic and Highways to minimise disruption and align with their works, and I want to thank everyone for their patience while the work was carried out.
"The new access covers also mean the cyclists should have a smoother journey to and from Town."
The investment forms part of multi-million pound plans for 2024 to ensure critical infrastructure is maintained and fit for purpose for decades to come. Upcoming works include the annual sewer relining programme, new pipework installed at Moulin Huet and completing the project at St Saviours Water Treatment Works.
