Control Room Technician

We’re looking for a control room technician: and it could be YOU.

Joining this team places you at the very heart of delivering our 24/7 mission to provide water for life.

Our NASA-style control room ensures that if something happens anywhere on our 500km network of water pipes, 300km wastewater network, at our 58 pumping stations, any of our 14 reservoirs or our three-water treatment works, you’ll be the first to know – responsible for starting the organisational response. Think of yourself as the early-warning radar for the company, constantly vigilant and continuously ready to ensure the water keeps flowing from source to sea.

You’ll monitor security across our sites and be able to act unsupervised under pressure at any time of day.

In short, this job sits at the centre of the organisation tasked with getting clean, safe and wholesome drinking water to our 26,500 customers, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Taking this job means you’ll know that any time anyone turns on the tap, you played a role in getting the water to them.
